Bash 2009 included three talented, diverse, and local music stages featuring the likes of Avalon Four, The Uptown Savages, Del Moroccos (above) and In Black and White among many other bands. The Demonstration Stage showcased the Strongman Competition and a fashion show with appearances from members of the Bay View Historical Society in vintage apparel. As always, the Children’s Area provided plenty of entertainment including Bay View’s most famous clown, a visit from local team mascots, face painting, games, prizes and more. A fabulous, day-long Raffle and Silent Auction, the Turtle Dash to the Bash, and third annual “Bike to the Bash” rounded out a very full schedule of special events that kept Bay View buzzing throughout the day. |
- The Bay View Bash is Milwaukee’s largest, and only 100% volunteer-run festival.The Bash is a community party for Bay View residents, business owners, and visitorsto eat, drink, dance, shop and play on Kinnickinnic Avenue.
We raise funds only to help build the community we love. No paid staff; all volunteer party.

The 6th annual Bay View Bash - 2009 - featured:
- Three live music stages with a variety of local musicians and entertainers
- A children’s area featuring games, clowns, mascots, and education and entertainment for the whole family
- A young adult’s area with art projects, music and entertainment
- Scores of area vendors and organizations of all varieties
- A strongman competition, fashion show, and martial arts and other demonstrations
- Local food
- Beer & wine offered by local distributors
