Established in 2004, the Bay View Bash is a community festival of food, art, music, crafts, books, and community organizations. The Bash is the main funding source of the Bay View Community Fund Inc, a IRS certified 501(c)4, Non-for-Profit Foundation. All proceeds from the Bay View Bash are directly invested back into our city’s neighborhoods through GRANTS to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations who request funding for special projects. Additionally, the Bay View Bash partners with local composting group Kompost Kids to continue efforts in moving the Bash toward a near Zero-Waste Festival.

In order to respect the neighborhood surrounding the Bash and help with our fundraising efforts, PLEASE: NO CARRY-INS ARE PERMITTED ON THE BAY VIEW BASH FESTIVAL GROUNDS.

Volunteer!

The Bay View Bash is planned and run entirely by dedicated volunteers. Each year we depend on over 100 generous individuals who are able to give their time to the Bash.

Throughout the day we have various opportunities throughout the festival where volunteers give their time in 3-4 hour shifts. Come for one shift or stay all day, we would be happy to have you volunteer!

The Bash is allowing community groups and non-profit organizations to earn additional funding for their organization by helping us staff the bars at the Bash. Volunteers need to be 18+ (bartending experience not required). Groups will be able to earn a portion of the pooled tips per hour based on the number of volunteers participating for each organization.
