The Bay View Bash takes place on the 3rd Saturday of September between Potter and Clement on Kinnickinnic Avenue in Bay View, Milwaukee.

Established in 2004, the Bay View Bash is a community festival of food, art, music, crafts, books, and community organizations. The Bash is the main funding source of the Bay View Community Fund Inc, a IRS certified 501(c)4, Non-for-Profit Foundation. All proceeds from the Bay View Bash are directly invested back into our city’s neighborhoods by donation to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations who request funding for special projects. Additionally, the Bay View Bash partners with local composting group Kompost Kids to continue efforts in making the Bash a Zero Waste Festival.

In order to respect the neighborhood surrounding the Bash and help with our fundraising efforts, PLEASE: NO CARRY-INS ARE PERMITTED ON THE BAY VIEW BASH FESTIVAL GROUNDS.

Volunteer

The Bay View Bash is planned and run entirely by dedicated volunteers. Each year we depend on over 100 generous individuals who are able to give their time to the Bash.

Throughout the day we have various opportunities throughout the festival where volunteers give their time in 3-4 hour shifts. Come for one shift or stay all day, we would be happy to have you volunteer!

Entertainment

The Bash features 30+ acts, bands, and entertainers throughout the day on our five stages. Festival-goers can visit our Old School Party Jams Stage, Children’s Area (Sponsored by: Immaculate Conception Church, St. Francis Dental, Sendik's and Avalon Theater), North Stage (Sponsored by: Rush-Mor Records/WMSE), Middle Stage (Sponsored by: WB Bottle), South Stage (Sponsored by: David Gruber Law Offices), and our 2016 Demonstration Stage (Sponsored by: Buddha Lounge).
